This is your chance to showcase your musical talent, compete against Dubai's best bands, and claim the championship title while enjoying world-class food and entertainment. 

Whether you're a rock band, hip-hop crew, pop sensation, or any other musical genre, this is the stage for you. Compete for glory, prizes, and the ultimate recognition as Dubai's Battle of the Bands champions.

Terms & Conditions:
 

1. Eligibility

• The competition is open to bands based in the United Arab Emirates.

• All band members must be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration.

• Bands may consist of 2 to 8 members.

• All music genres are welcome, provided performances are suitable for a family-friendly audience.

• Employees of Al Ghurair Centre, Flayva Food Hall, participating partners, agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Registration

• Registration must be completed through the official Battle of the Bands registration form on the Flayva website.

• Only one registration per band is permitted.

• Incomplete or inaccurate registrations may be disqualified.

• Registration does not guarantee selection to perform.

3. Selection Process

• Applications will be reviewed by the Organizer based on musical quality, originality, stage presence, and suitability for the event.

• Selected bands will be contacted directly via the contact details provided during registration.

• The Organizer's decision regarding selection is final.

4. Performance Requirements

Selected bands agree to:

• Perform live on the assigned performance date and time.

• Arrive at least 60 minutes before their scheduled performance.

• Perform a 60 minute live set (duration may be adjusted by the Organizer).

• Use clean, family-friendly language and content.

• Follow all venue safety, technical, and operational guidelines.

• Bring their own instruments unless otherwise communicated.

5. Audience Voting and Social Reach

• Audience voting will be conducted through the official voting platform.

• One vote per person during each voting period.

• Duplicate, fraudulent, or automated votes may be removed without notice.

• The Organizer reserves the right to verify votes and invalidate suspicious activity.

• Organizer shall also evaluate band's social media reach and engagement 

7. Prize

The winning band will receive:

• A 2-Month Paid Residency at Flayva Food Hall.

The residency:

• Will be scheduled based on venue availability.

• Is non-transferable.

• Cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative prizes.

• Is subject to a separate performance agreement outlining performance schedule, payment terms, and operational requirements.

8. Content Rights

By participating, bands grant the Organizer the right to:

• Photograph, film, and record performances.

• Use names, band logos, photos, videos, and performance recordings for marketing, advertising, social media, website, PR, and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

• Edit or reproduce submitted content for promotional use.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

• Conduct themselves professionally.

• Respect venue staff, judges, and fellow performers.

• Avoid offensive, discriminatory, political, or inappropriate content.

• Comply with all UAE laws and venue regulations.

Failure to comply may result in immediate disqualification.

10. Cancellation & Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to:

• Modify event dates, timings, judging criteria, or competition format.

• Cancel or postpone performances due to operational, technical, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.

• Replace or amend prizes where necessary.

11. Liability

The Organizer shall not be liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal equipment.

• Injuries sustained during travel to or participation in the event, except where required by law.

• Technical issues affecting registration or voting.

Participants are responsible for their own instruments and personal belongings.

12. Disqualification

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Provides false information.

• Attempts to manipulate voting.

• Breaches these Terms & Conditions.

• Engages in inappropriate or unsafe behaviour.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for administering the competition and related communications in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

14. Acceptance

By submitting a registration, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Website Registration Disclaimer

By submitting this form, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that all band members consent to participating in the competition. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Only shortlisted bands will be contacted.

Voting Disclaimer

• One vote per person.

• Multiple or fraudulent votes will not be counted.

• Voting closes on the date and time announced by the Organizer.

• The Organizer's decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.
